Peter's Fairly Neat Little WebspaceHowdy friends.... 11/15/2006 New Location! New Photos!Hello, Friends. Sorry I don't blog more often, but for any of you whom I (to my shame) have not personally talked to recently, I wanted to make sure it was known that we are once again living in British Columbia on Vancouver Island; specifically in the city of Nanaimo, pop. 100,000+ (including surrounding area) (How's that for a run-on sentence?!!). We live about 2 blocks from the ocean and 2 minutes from the biggest mall on the Island- strange, but very cool if you ask me. It barely feels like we're in a city, but it's right at your fingertips when you need it. I've added 2 new photo galleries; one of our beautiful new place (basement apt in a really nice neighborhood), and another of some of the photos I've taken around the Island since being back. I hope you enjoy them and get a feel for were we are now and what our place will look like when you come visit us ;) To those of you that are far away; please come visit soon, I'm sorry that we didn't get to see everybody as much as I wanted while we were living in Wyoming. I miss you guys. Let me know what you think of the pics, and call soon to book your reservations :) 7/11/2006 How Can You Call This a Blog???!!Ok, ok, so that is a very valid question when I only post an article semi-annually... Well, hey, at least this is something! Although I don't have whole lot of content to add. I'm adding some pictures from Melanie's and my recent camping trip which I hope you'll enjoy, and I've added a new music list detailing my current favorite tunes so far this summer. I highly recommend all songs included, and if you want to check out a really interesting emerging artist who has spiritual roots, check out Mat Kearney if you haven't heard him. His music is a bit of an adjustment for some people, as it's a mix of Coldplay-esque brit-pop vocal stylings paired with a heavy dose of "Backpack Rap", which is really closer to spoken word than rap. Anyway, lyrically he's very engaging and endearing and really strikes a chord of human experience with his songs. It's a very honest and straightforward approach, and you may just really like it. Anyway, that's my little plug/review for the semi-annual edition of my blog (the Fray's album also is really good)- I hope you check out some of the music and enjoy it : ) 9/4/2005 Helloha!Hi there. You've wandered into my latest canned website. Hopefully I will update this page more than once every two months so it's worth you taking the time to check out! At least you can see some pictures of me and my fabulous looking wife. |
